Sometimes we carry more energy than we realize.
Worry.
Stress.
Fear.
Other people’s emotions.
Old thoughts that keep repeating.
When we hold on to too much energy, the body can feel tense, tired, heavy, or uncomfortable. The mind may feel busy, scattered, or overwhelmed.
One simple way to begin feeling better is through grounding.
Grounding helps anchor your body’s energy to the center of the earth, so you can feel more centered, calm, and present.
A Simple Grounding Practice
Sit comfortably with both feet flat on the floor.
Take a slow breath.
Smile gently.
Relax your body.
Imagine a grounding connection from the base of your spine going all the way down to the center of the earth.
This grounding connection can look like a beam of light, a tree trunk, a waterfall, a cord, or anything that feels natural to you.
You do not have to force it or make it perfect.
Just imagine your body connecting gently to the center of the earth.
As you breathe, allow your body to feel supported.
Grounding helps bring your energy back into present time. It gives your body a safe place to release unwanted energy, tension, stress, fear, worry, or other people’s energy.
Once you are grounded, releasing becomes much easier.
After you are grounded, you can begin to release unwanted energy.
And here is the beautiful part:
You do not have to force it.
You do not have to push it.
You do not have to try hard.
Just allow gravity to do the work.
A Simple Example
Hold a pencil in your hand.
Now gently let it go.
The pencil drops by itself.
You do not have to push it down. You do not have to make it fall. You simply release it, and gravity does the rest.
Releasing unwanted energy can work in a similar way.
When you are grounded, you can allow unwanted energy, tension, fear, worry, or heaviness to release down your grounding — with no effort.
Smile.
Relax.
Breathe.
No effort.
As you smile gently, your energy can begin to rise into a happier, lighter vibration — like a beautiful Golden Yellow light.
After releasing, it is important to fill up the new space with what you want to create.
Imagine a beautiful Golden Yellow light above your head.
Fill it with peace, clarity, love, confidence, happiness, laughter, wisdom, creativity, good health, and miracles.
Then allow that Golden Yellow light to gently fill your aura, your body, and every cell.
Ground.
Release.
Fill up with what you want to create.
This is a simple practice you can use anytime you feel heavy, tense, worried, or not quite yourself.
You may be surprised how much better you can feel when you stop trying so hard and simply allow gravity to do the work.
With Love and Light,
Ben 🙂
